Margie Scalley Vaught, CPC, CPC-H, CPC-I, PCE, CCS-P, MCS-P, ACS-EM, ACS-OR, is an adjunct instructor for HCPro's Certified Coder Boot Camps and has more than 25 years experience in a wide array healthcare settings and roles, with particular expertise in orthopedics. As an independent consultant, she performs internal audits, provides education and training of physicians and office staff, and helps clinics establish billing and coding compliance manuals. She is a former AAPC national board member and was a technical support staff member in AAPC's education department.
