Accreditation Professionals play a key role in the success of their organizations. They lead the organization's efforts to achieve and maintain accreditation and to meet and exceed accreditation standards and regulations.
The Accreditation Specialist Boot Camp will prepare you for the many challenges of the job. The intensive two and a half day course will teach newer survey coordinators everything they need to know to do their jobs. It will cover Joint Commission and CMS requirements and teach best practices for survey prep, training, and overall management. After you participate in the Accreditation Specialist Boot Camp you'll be able to:
- Interpret accreditation standards and regulations
- Assess organizational readiness and vulnerabilities
- Implementing continuous survey readiness plans
- Execute evidence-based approaches to patient safety and performance improvement
- If you choose, sit for the Certified Specialist in Healthcare Accreditation (CSHA) exam
